Apeiron Accounting and Tax Consultancy is seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant with 4-5 years of UAE experience in accounting and taxation. The ideal candidate must be ACCA qualified and possess strong knowledge of IFRS. The role requires excellent analytical and multitasking skills, ensuring compliance with UAE financial regulations and optimizing financial processes for clients.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Accounting & Reporting:

  • Prepare, review, and maintain financial statements in compliance with IFRS.
  • Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Maintain general ledger and oversee financial transactions.
  • Conduct bank reconciliations, accounts payable, and accounts receivable management.

2. Taxation & Compliance:

  • Handle VAT calculations, submissions, and compliance in line with UAE tax laws.
  • Provide guidance on Corporate Tax implementation and compliance.
  • Prepare and file tax returns, ensuring adherence to FTA regulations.
  • Stay updated with UAE tax laws and assist in tax planning strategies.

3. Audit & Internal Controls:

  • Assist in external and internal audits, ensuring compliance with regulations.
  • Implement internal controls to safeguard financial integrity.
  • Identify and resolve discrepancies in financial records.

4. Financial Analysis & Advisory:

  • Conduct financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting for clients.
  • Provide recommendations to optimize financial performance.
  • Assist management in financial decision-making and risk assessment.

5. Client & Stakeholder Management:

  • Handle multiple clients across various industries, ensuring smooth financial operations.
  • Liaise with banks, auditors, and government authorities for financial matters.
  • Provide consultancy services related to accounting, taxation, and financial management.

Key Skills & Competencies:

✔ ACCA qualification (Mandatory)
✔ Strong knowledge of IFRS and UAE accounting standards
✔ Expertise in VAT and corporate taxation in UAE
✔ Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Zoho, Xero, Tally, SAP, or other ERP systems)
✔ Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
✔ Strong multitasking and organizational abilities
✔ Detail-oriented with high accuracy in financial reporting
✔ Strong communication and client management skills
✔ Ability to work under tight deadlines and handle multiple projects

Preferred Requirements:

  • Experience in an accounting & tax consultancy firm is a plus.
  • Knowledge of UAE corporate tax regulations.
  • Ability to manage a team and mentor junior accountants.
